Cindy: Hi Jones, what’re you doing today?
Jones: You mean after church?
Cindy: Yes. Do you have any plans?
Jones: No, not really. No plans.
Cindy: Let’s go for a movie.
Jones: Hmm... Which movie?
Cindy: Well, I was thinking about the new movie “Norwegian Wood,” but I don’t mind if you want to watch something else.
Jones: I saw the trailer for this movie. It seems to be a good one!
Jones: Hi there, Cindy.
Cindy: How are you doing?
Jones: I’m doing great! I was wondering if you’d have dinner with me.
Cindy: Dinner! Hmm... Why not? When?
Jones: How about tonight?
Cindy: Well...If I say I can’t make it tonight, then... ?
Jones: Then, can you make it tomorrow?
Cindy: Okay! I was just kidding.
Jones: So, will you come tonight, then?
Cindy: Yes, I will. It’s a date.
Kurt: How are you Wilma?
Wilma: I’m fine. How are you?
Kurt: I’m fine too. Wilma, can I ask you something, if you don’t mind?
Wilma: Sure Kurt.
Kurt: Can we go out on a date this Saturday?
Wilma: Err...A date? I think it’s...
Kurt: It’s okay if you are busy, we can go some other time.
Wilma: I would say ‘yes’ you know, but it’s my dad. He doesn’t like you.
Kurt: That’s alright. Some other time then!
Wilma: Hello Kurt. How are you?
Kurt: Hi Wilma. I’m fine and you?
Wilma: I’m fine too. It’s a great day. Isn’t it?
Kurt: Sure Wilma, it is.
Kurt: Wilma, do you have anything to do after the office today?
Wilma: No, why?
Kurt: Let’s go for a walk on the beach this evening! If that’s alright with you...
Wilma: Are you asking me out on a date?
