Kevin: Hey, man! What’s up?
Daniel: What’s up?
Kevin: I’m tired. Just came back from football practice.
Daniel: Okay, so is football your favourite sport?
Kevin: Not really, no. I love football but my favourite sport is basketball. I can play it all day long.
Daniel: You should try out the basketball team then.
Kevin: Nah! I love basketball but I don’t play that well.
Jessica: Hi, Kayla. What are you doing?
Kayla: Hey. Nothing much. I’m bored. I don’t know what to do.
Jessica: How can a girl ever be bored? That’s why mankind invented malls. Don’t you like to go to the mall?
Kayla: Is that so? I am not much of a shopping person.
Jessica: Who said anything about shopping? I like to hang out in the malls in my free time.
Kayla: That sounds better.. I like to read books when I’m free. But I’ve got no new books to read.
Jessica: No wonder you get A’s in all subjects.
Ashton: What do you do for fun, Ryan?
Ryan: I like going out to watch new movies with my friends. What about you?
Ashton: I really like to go ice-skating. I go once or twice every month.
Ryan: We should hang out together sometime. Do both things.
Ashton: Yeah! Sure.
Bethany: What do you do on the weekends?
Cory: We usually hang out at my place and play video games. What about you?
Bethany: My friends and I go out. This week we’ve planned a Karaoke night.
Cory: Oh, I’ve never tried that.
Bethany: You should join us. You may find out you like it.
Cory: I think you’re right!
Stephen: So, what do you do when you are bored?
Katy: I like watching movies. What about you?
Stephen: I like to bake.
Katy: Wow, that’s very nice!
Stephen : Yep, it’s a useful hobby.
Katy : I’m sure it is. And your family must love it!
Stephen : (laughing) Sure they do. They love the treats I bake for them.
