What’s Your Name?

Harry: Hi there. I’m Harry. What’s your name?

Richard: Hi, my name is Richard.

Harry: Nice to meet you Richard. Do you come here often?

Richard: Nice to meet you too. No, it’s my first visit.

Do You Live Here?

Amanda: Hi! Are you the new tenant?

Ramona: Yes, I just moved in.

Amanda: Oh, great! My name’s Amanda. I live just next door.

Ramona: I’m Ramona. I guess we’ll see each other often then.

Amanda: Yeah! See you around neighbor. I’m going to the office now.

Ramona: Bye! See you.

What Do You Do?

Kayla: Hi, Miranda.

Miranda: Hi, Kayla. How are you?

Kayla: I’m good. And you?

Miranda: Doing okay.

Kayla: So, Miranda... I’ve never asked you before. But, what do you do?

Miranda: I’m a nurse at the St. Louise Medical Center. What about you?

Kayla: I’m a sales clerk at the local department store.

Do You Want to Join Us?

Deanna: Hey there, Anna! What’s up, girl?

Anna : What’s up?

Deanna : We’re going to the plaza tomorrow. Do you wanna hang out with us?

Anna : Sure! Thanks for inviting me.

Deanna : Gimme a ring later, will ya? We’ll fix it up.

Anna : Deal!

Where Are You From?

Paul: Hey, are you from the States?

Betty: No, no. I’m from the Philippines.

Paul: I see. Are you new here?

Betty: Actually, I’ve been living here for many years now.

Paul: Oh, I’ve never visited the Philippines. How are things there?

Betty: It’s very beautiful. The tropical weather, its flora and fauna, it’s all nice.

Paul: Sounds like a beautiful place. I’m Paul by the way. Nice to meet you.

Betty: I’m Betty. Nice to meet you too, Paul.
